We specialise in flexible, fully online learning for students worldwide, using a blend of interactive digital workbooks, video content, and expert tutor guidance.

As a 100% online institution, we make extensive use of advanced digital learning environments and cloud-based platforms. For this reason, we require candidates with exceptional IT skills, confidence using digital tools, and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes. This is essential for maintaining the high-quality learner experience we pride ourselves on.

We are currently looking to engage the services of a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Tutor to assist with the development of online learning content. For the right candidate, the role may also include ongoing support to learners, including marking, feedback, and academic guidance.

This is a part-time, remote, and flexible position—ideal for a professional looking to contribute to engineering education alongside other commitments.

About the Role

The initial focus will be on:

• Creating structured, high-quality written and visual learning materials for online delivery
• Developing worked examples, problem sets, and digital activities that support self-paced learning
• Ensuring content is academically sound, well-organised, and accessible to learners studying independently

There may also be opportunities to:

• Support learners through our Learning Management System (LMS)
• Mark and provide feedback on submitted assignments
• Contribute to course improvements and future content development

What We're Looking For

• A degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Experience teaching, tutoring, or training in an academic or professional setting
• Excellent IT literacy is essential—you must be confident with digital document creation, collaborative cloud tools (e.g. Google Workspace or Office 365), and using online learning platforms
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Independent working style and ability to meet deadlines remotely

Desirable Attributes

• Experience designing or delivering online or distance learning
• Industry experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Familiarity with qualification frameworks at levels 4–6 or international equivalents
