All the grammar schools in Devon use GL assessment apart from Colyton Grammar. Their 11 plus test is supplied by FSCE (Future Stories Community Enterprise). It is not unusual for schools that have relied on the same exam provider for an extended period to undergo sudden changes and switch to different providers. Therefore, it is advisable to verify this information directly with the schools.
We have found that most parents start to prepare their children for the 11+ exams at least a year or two in advance, and year 4/5 is typical, although many do start earlier in year 3. Our tutors have extensive experience and knowledge of the requirements of the 11+ entrance exams in Devon and are available for private one to one tuition in the 11+.
