Personal Customer Support
With years of experience in the education field, we can provide you with a personal touch to customer service, so that you can contact us to discuss any aspect of your child’s education any time.
How It Works
1. Tell us what your child needs
Complete the short tutor request form and let us know the subject, level and type of support required. You can tell us whether your child needs help catching up, preparing for exams, building confidence or aiming for higher grades.
2. We learn more and match your child with a tutor
After you submit the Request a Tutor form, one of our Education Consultants will call you to discuss your specific requirements and learn more about your child’s needs.
We’ll ask about the subject, level, goals, learning style, confidence and any particular areas where support is needed. We then use this information to carefully match your child with a suitable online tutor.
3. Your child starts online lessons
Lessons take place online using an interactive learning space with audio, video and digital whiteboard tools. Tutors can upload resources, explain concepts visually and work through problems with your child in real time.
4. You receive feedback
After lessons, parents receive written feedback so they can see what has been covered and what the tutor recommends next.
How does Online Tuition Work?
Our virtual online classrooms use digital whiteboards with integrated audio and video capability. Sessions are recorded so you can review your lesson afterwards as often as required. The entire whiteboard contents will also be emailed to you after each lesson for your notes. Both tutor and student can write on the whiteboard and learning material can be uploaded to the learning space.
This means a highly effective and efficient one to one tutoring session can take place, without the pupil having to spend any time making notes.

Qualified Teachers who understand the UK curriculum
At Principal Tutors, we only work with qualified teachers. That means your child is supported by someone who understands how pupils learn, how schools assess progress and how to teach the curriculum effectively.
Our tutors are not simply subject specialists. They are experienced educators who know how to explain difficult topics clearly, identify gaps in understanding and help pupils build confidence.
This is especially important for pupils preparing for 11+, GCSE and A-level exams, where curriculum knowledge, exam technique and structured support can make a real difference.
We are NOT just a Tutor Directory
Many tutoring websites leave parents to choose from a long list of tutor profiles. That can be time-consuming and confusing, especially if you are not sure what qualifications, experience or teaching style your child needs.
Principal Tutors works differently.
Our education consultants speak with you first, understand your child’s situation, then recommend a suitable tutor. If the first match is not quite right, we can revisit the process and help find an alternative.
The goal is simple: to make it easier for your child to start learning with a tutor who suits their needs.
