My Client is an online engineering college with online engineering courses at level 4 and level 5.

They deliver their course material in a manner to allow the students to work in their own time and pace, via bite-size learning steps utilising a combination of reading, videos and worked examples.

About the Job
This is for a fixed term contract for the production of distance learning material for Civil Engineering related content.

However, the selected candidate may also be offered an on-going part-time contract for the support and assessment of learner work.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a new and dynamic distance learning company, and represents an opportunity to start at the early stages of the business and to benefit from it's anticipated growth and hence variety of opportunities in this growing market.

About the Right Candidate
You must have:

- experience teaching Civil Engineering either at at college or university level
- a Civil Engineering degree

Responsibilities

In the first instance, this will be a fixed short-term contract for the creation of learning material suitable for distance learning in civil engineering. However, my client are keen to find a suitable person to provide on-going support to learners and marking of assignments etc and so further opportunities are possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required as a minimum qualification
